Good news for butter-lovers: A new study out of Tufts University in Boston just confirmed that the creamy condiment–which up to this point has gotten a bad rapthanks to its saturated fat content–isnt actually terrible for your health. After examining a series of recent research, study authors concluded that spreading real butter on toast, corn on the cob or cacio e pepe isnt linked to chronic illnesses (like heart disease) as people originally thought. In fact, it might even help protect against type 2 diabetes.
